Project Manager – Construction

We are looking for an experienced and competent Project Manager to lead and manage residential construction projects across the UK. In this role, you will take full ownership of project planning, coordination, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In this role will play a vital part in maintaining financial discipline, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions as Raocon continues its growth journey.

Furthermore, in this role you will:

• Lead and manage residential extensions, refurbishments, and design & build projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project execution strategies, programmes, and delivery plans.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, resource allocation, and profitability.
• Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Drive programme delivery, risk management, and value engineering initiatives.
• Manage project variations, change control, valuations, and claims.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, local authorities, Building Control bodies, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular project progress, commercial, and performance reports to Directors.

Furthermore, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing construction or engineering projects.
• Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, procurement, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC, or equivalent construction contracts.
• Understanding of construction regulations, health & safety practices, and project compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent planning software.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
